Segundo disco do cantor britânico apresentado em digressão pela Europa. Daniel Kemish lançou ontem, dia 25 de maio, o tão esperado ‘Under The Same Sky’, o seu segundo álbum de originais, com o selo da Far Out Records. Depois de ter revelado os singles ‘Fool For You’ e ‘Hold on Tight’, Kemish apresenta agora ao público as restantes faixas de um disco que navega entre o folk, o country e o rock.

Biográfico, o quanto baste, e revelador da maturidade do artista enquanto compositor, multi-instrumentista e cantor, ‘Under The Same Sky’ foi composto de forma muito particular. Para fugir das distrações do quotidiano, Kemish isolou-se do mundo e passou um mês numa pequena cabana rodeada de neve, nos Alpes austríacos.
Sem telefones, internet, água potável ou eletricidade, Daniel dedicou-se por inteiro à música e compôs 29 temas, dos quais escolheu os 11 que integram este segundo longa duração (LP).
De regresso a Portugal, onde vive, e com a ajuda do baixista Jean-Christian Houde, do baterista João Colaço e do guitarrista André C. Rodrigues, Kemish gravou ‘Under The Same Sky’ nos estúdios da Valentim de Carvalho, em Lisboa.
Se a sonoridade do primeiro álbum, ‘Fools and Money’, lançado em 2016, era assumidamente country, revelando a paixão do cantor pela música americana, neste novo LP Daniel Kemish atreve-se a enveredar por outros caminhos sonoros, que mostram a sua capacidade de se reinventar. Da primeira à última faixa ‘Under The Same Sky’ é uma viagem com várias dimensões.
Depois de algumas apresentações em Portugal, das quais se destaca o concerto do dia 10 de Junho, no Parque do Palácio da Galeria em Tavira, no Algarve, Daniel Kemish parte em digressão pela Europa, com ‘Under The Same Sky’.
